Fellows of the ASFNR

The FASFNR is an honor conferred on individuals who have been members of the ASFNR for at least 10 consecutive years and are recognized for their significant contribution to the society in our field of advanced neuroimaging.

Eligibility and Details

To apply, you must be a member in good standing for a minimum of 10 years, which can be confirmed with the ASFNR central office.

Application Information

Application must be submitted by March 15th of the year of the meeting where they will be celebrated if accepted.
The application should include an updated CV which lists your current appointment/position, publications, research contributions, awards, and activities involving the ASFNR.
Upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and research integrity is expected. Applicants must disclose any previous, current, or anticipated disciplinary actions. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from fellowship consideration or revocation of fellowship if it has already been awarded.
Two letters of recommendation are required. At least ONE letter must be written by a current ASFNR Fellow.
A $200 fee is to be collected at the time the applicant is accepted, which covers the administrative expenses, certificate and gown.

Ceremony Details

The FASFNR honor is conferred only through in-person participation at the FASFNR ceremony held during the reception at the ASFNR annual meeting. An individual has three consecutive years to participate in the convocation before losing FASFNR eligibility.
