The Publication Committee Chair for the ASFNR is responsible for organizing and facilitating publications of interest to the society. Publications may include outward-facing works and internal, informational pieces to a variety of audiences both lay, medical, and scientific, as appropriate. 

 

The Publication Committee Chair will work in close collaboration with other members of the ASFNR executive committee including the Website and Social Media Committee Chair and the Clinical Practice Committee Chair on projects including but not restricted to relevant white papers, ASFNR endorsements of white papers, website copy, and media publications. The Chair is responsible for fostering exchange with AJNR editorial staff and AJNR leadership. The Chair is expected to have skills in clear written communication and experience producing scientific material for publication in various forms. The Chair is expected to convene annual Publication Committee meetings to accomplish and inform on these goals. The Publication Committee Chair is a member of the ASFNR Executive Committee serves a 3-year term, renewable.
