Functional Neuroradiology expands upon high resolution anatomic imaging of the brain and spine. It is defined as imaging of the functional aspects of the central nervous system, which encompasses emerging techniques including Blood Oxygen Level Dependent Functional MRI, Diffusion Imaging, Perfusion Imaging, Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, Magnetoencephalography, Positron Emission Tomography, Molecular and Metabolic Imaging, and Machine Learning.
