ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
INFORMATION & CRITERIA
ABSTRACT DEADLINE EXTENDED!
June 28TH, 2021!

1. The American Journal of Neuroradiology (AJNR) encourages presenters to submit

manuscripts based on their work to AJNR before considering other journals.

2. Presenters of accepted abstracts must register for

the ASFNR 14th Annual Meeting.

 

3. Published or previously presented works should NOT be submitted.

4. Submission technical topic and clinical subtopic areas include:

          fMRI, Diffusion, Perfusion, CT, Morphometric

          Imaging, High-field, AI/Informatics, 3D printing,

          Preclinical/Molecular, TBI, Neurodegenerative,

          Neuropsychiatry, Stroke, Epilepsy, Brain Tumors,                    Head and Neck, Spine, Pediatrics.
 

5. Submit each abstract in one category only.

6. Format abstract text using headings required for submission category.
7. Maximum length: 300 words including graphics. Charts, graphs and tables may be included

as an image, for all categories.
8. Submission site allows uploading of files into the system.
9. Changes can be made to the abstract until the deadline.

FOR EACH ABSTRACT

• Only one graphic file with a maximum of four images is permitted.

• Required graphic file resolution is 300 dpi or greater (e.g. 900 pixel width by 900 pixel height for a 3-inch by   3-inch image).

• Maximum file size of 100 megabytes.

• Only .jpg and .gif formats are accepted.

SUBMISSION CATEGORIES


Scientific Paper (Oral Presentation)

  • 5-minute presentation plus 1-minute for questions should summarize details of original investigative research.

  • Required abstract format: Purpose, Materials and
    Methods, Results, Conclusion.

  • Abstracts may include one graphic file with a
    maximum of four (4) images.

  • Option to apply for John Ulmer Awardhttps://www.asfnr.org/john-l-ulmer-award-grant

Educational Exhibit (Paper)

  • Visually-oriented educational presentation.

  • Required abstract format: summary of the planned presentation and list of educational objectives. Consider use of “Purpose, Methods, Findings, Summary” when appropriate

  • Abstracts may include one graphic file with a•
    maximum of four (4) images.

  • Size of the Poster: 36” wide x 48” tall

Scientific Poster (Paper)

  • Visual presentation summarizing details of
    original research.

  • Required abstract format: Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion.

  • Abstracts may include one graphic file with a
    maximum of four (4) images.

  • Size of the Poster: 36” wide x 48” tall
